We achieve our mission through historical research and interpretation, preservation and management of our collections and historic buildings, and creative activities and events.

About my libraryThe Niederlander Research Library and Archives at Amherst Museum includes a collection of over 5,000 volumes on local history, U.S. history, photography, nineteenth-century society and culture, textiles, quilting, antiques, museum studies, weaving, lacemaking, and decorative arts.
