I've just added you to my 'interesting libraries'. Your library caught my eye this morning as I saw that you have just added Drood and I am eagerly awaiting my copy! Looking through your books, I've added quite a few crime/mystery/thriller titles from your library to my Amazon wish list! I see we already share a number of books, so I thought I'd keep an eye out for further inspiration from you.
Regards, Becky

I think it may have been me that put Edward and his mrs Mary Elston on the school teacher site !
I think the village of Elston must be a connection to my name, especially as it is in Nottingham, not been there yet,I keep threatening to return and visit my home town, sure I will eventually !
I am more of a southerner now though !

My ancestor was Edward Elston who was the registrar of births and deaths in Claypole in 1837.he was a blacksmith and had the Woolpack pub as well,he ans wife were teachers also. Later on his son in law had the Woolpack Charles Revill who was also a blacksmith.
I believe one of his ancestors still lives in Claypole now.
I was also born in Nottingham as well.

I see you are also from Nottingham ? I have ancestors from Claypole in Newark.
We appear to have quite a few books in common !
I have listed about 1200 but still have quite a few more unlisted ones !
I will have a look at your library and see what looks interesting that I can
buy next !
Cheers.........Shirley
