About meI was raised in San Antonio, Texas. I have been a Texas teacher since 1995, certified in both English and Social Studies (Composite) for high school. (I was also certified in Math and Physics, but those are now inactive.) Between 2003 and 2008 I was a high school social studies instructional specialist, which was very rewarding. I am now back in the classroom, happily teaching AP World History and AP US Government.
