I'd rather read than just about anything else. My husband doesn't understand the obsession with books. My recently married daughter shows signs of being like me. Fortunately my son-in-law understands. About my libraryMy library is heavy on YA and children's literature because I'm always looking for books to interest my students. It's tough for a 14-year-old whose reading level is at a low third grade level (or lower), so I like having a huge classroom library. My "skinny books" tag is for those books that are less than 150 pages -- short enough that my students will at least pick them up. Other fiction is mostly trashy romance and suspense or fantasy/fairy tales. These are the ones I've probably read 8-10 times each because I like to visit the characters often. I do read better literature, but usually check them out at the library. My nonfiction is mostly reference material for my my job or my hobbies: quilting, gardening, cooking, and geneaology. Remember me?????? I am back after having to take care of a million things that kept me too busy to be here with friends.
My kitten is growing and is sweeter than ever.
I wanted to stop by and say Hi and let you know I am back and going to buckle down and get some much needed reading down.
Why is life so darn busy at times?????? lol
Take Care
Sandy

I am truly enjoying Smoke Screen by Sandra Brown (one of my favorite authors) May I recommend an author I think you might enjoy (Debbie Macomber) Twenty Wishes was one of her books I loved.
