About meI am a library science student at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. In addition to being a full-time graduate student, I also work in the campus' digitization lab. Let me just say I extremely enjoy spending all day watching Hulu whilst scanning/editing items in Photoshop. I'll be graduating May 2010 with my MLS and a certification in Technology Management. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, relaxing, and traveling.

I saw that you had Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters! Patti asked how they were and I was wondering too!? I noticed that Cailiosa wasn't impressed, but what was your opinion? I saw the book trailers for them a while ago, which I thought were really funny! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jZVE5uF2...)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't stand Twilight and doesn't understand the hype. I think Meyer had an interesting idea, but didn't create characters that were very likable at all. Of course, I seem to be in the minority in that opinion, since most everyone seems to think Edward Cullen is the best thing since sliced bread (I personally find the stalking a bit on the creepy side).

What did you think of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? I bought it, but I will admit I lost interest in it after a while and ended up trading it in at a used bookstore. It seemed like the author just inserted random zombie bits into the text created by Jane Austen. Is Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters worth checking out?
Anna-you have one of my very favorite books I read this year in your library-The Road. What an amazing book! Will you go see the movie when it comes out? I take it you're a fan of Buffy-I'm a huge Joss Whedon fan myself.
Hi,

I noticed that you had Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. I want to read these!! I haven't read the original versions though...wonder if I should do that first. But I have heard such good things about those books. I'll be done with school in December - then I'll have more time to read! Maybe...then the job hunt! I also noticed you had the Harry Potter series in your collection. I think these are the books I had in common the most often with people (from our class). They're amazing. :) So far it looks like you've only read the first book in the Twilight series. I still haven't gotten to these...I just don't know. What do you think about the first book? Do you think HP fans are likely to be fans of it?

Thanks!
Patti
Great library! The Little Prince was a childhood favorite for me. I enjoyed the well-rounded atmosphere of your library... a little bit of everything. We "share" I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert. It's good to read a book that allows you to laugh at yourself and ways of life.
