About me I am employed as a Senior Library Specialist at Governors State University where I currently work in the Catalog Department. I have received three promotions since my starting date, May 05, 1990 and I am thinking of retiring in 2015.

I currently hold two Master Degrees, One in Art and the other in Psychology. I am pursuing my PhD in Human Services from Walden University with a specialization in Family Studies and Intervention Strategies. I began this journey in September of 2003 and I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. It is still a distant light, but never-the-less I can see it.

My dream, once I completed my studies,is to open a transitional home/learning center for homeless pregnant and parenting teens. I hope to provide that missing element in their lives--love.

About my library My library has books on teens. I can fill it up with more books but for the sake of this class I will keep it brief.
