I had not heard of the idea before your message, not in the news, not anyone commenting it in any way. Not very big new here. (I have to confess I have just skimmed the morning paper this week, though.)
The poll result sounds like a joke to me. Though, again, I don't really know what kind of people actually read Iltalehti or its web pages, and what they might think about anything.

I really enjoyed your review in the 2009 Global Reading Group - July Polar Read. Not only was the book you reviewed very interesting, but your insights and connection to the area made it more immediate and fascinating. Thanks for giving me a little education in the Laplanders.
