About my libraryThese are most of the books and comic books I own.
I also own lots of single issue comics, and I haven't started looking at the task of listing those yet...
To list all the books I have read is probably an impossible task by now - I have been a frequent customer at my local libraries over the years - but I'll give it a try with the new collection tools.
There are many books in my personal library that I have not read yet - and surely quite a few I will never get around to read, though I hope I have many years left in which to try.
However, there are millions of people writing books out there, and it is impossible for one man to read everything. This is a melancholy, sobering yet uplifting realization.

Thanks for the recommendation! Sorry for my slow response. I haven't checked my account on library thing in a while.

Totally possible!
Thanks for all the suggestions of medieval-based novels. I have not heard of any of those, and I will definitely look into them. Seems like a lot of interesting reads there.

I do like the political stuff as well, and the writing is fantastic as always. But like you, I miss some of the main characters. The book is dragging a bit to me. I'm about 600 pages in, and nothing significant has really happened.

Any other fantasy authors you would recommend that are similar to Martin? TO date, I haven't found anyone better than him.

Always nice to find other fans of Martin. I still have A Feast for Crows left to read in ASOIF. I'm about half-way through it now. How did you like it?
