Hi David
Thanks for accepting my FRIEND invite.
We do have alot of books in common.
And my love & admiration for A. Maupin is boundless.
I live in New York, so I am on the other side of the country.
Great to have a friend in Calif.
Happy reading,
Tony
Hi David,

I recently became the chair of the Library Committee at the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Pittsburgh. If you are ever in the mood to weed your library we'd like to have any of your items that might be of GLBT interest. We're looking for books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, directories, etc. We desperately need more current legal material. If you send us duplicate items we'll put them in our book sale. We're also starting a lending collection of adult (XXX) DVDs and video. Send those to us if you are so inclined.

We'll reimburse you for your costs if you ship via US Mail.

Check out the GLCC Library here on LT and become a fan of the GLCC Library on FaceBook.

I hope you'll consider donating to the GLCC Library of Pittsburgh.

Thanks.

Dan

PS

If you can't donate to us please donate to your local GLBT Library. I'm sure they need your help too.
Hi David,

Looks like you've been busy on here. Our shared titles list gets longer and longer every time you add a few new books.

sorry, but I do not know Jeff in the law library. The Law Library doesn't participate in any of our consortial activities so as a result I don't know may of the folks over there.

Are you going to ALA this summer in Chicago? It would be great to meet up in person sometime.

Dan
Hey David,

Welcome to LT. We have lots of stuff in common considering you've only added 339 books in the past couple of days. I'm working my way through the list of books nominated for this year's Lammy Awards. I just finished The Boomerang Kid by Jay Quinn which was just OK. Others, like Light Fell, We Disappear and Stray Dog Winter are very good. What are you reading now? My guess is something for school, right?

Which library do you work in? (I see you are on Librarians Who LT.) I'm the director of the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium, Inc. or PALCI. My office is at the Univ. of Pittsburgh.

Hit me back if you get a chance.

Dan
