About me‘Aurélien Arkadiusz’ claims, I r e a d, therefore I am.
About my libraryHaere mai. Welcome to my small library.
Mostly I read History, Mysteries, and Science Fiction.
Also, if you like books from the C19th, and/or early last century, you might enjoy browsing my library shelves and meeting up with old friends.
Visitors will need *sigh*, to make allowances for the sad reality that older books often have damaged dustjackets, or no dustjacket at all.
# Some of these books date back to my childhood days, all those long years ago, way back in the middle of last century.
# Two books even come from my parents' 1920s childhood collections.
# The rest have been added over the decades, many bought second-hand.
# All have (somehow) survived occasional fairly ruthless weeding bouts, triggered both by space constraints and by my family's unshakeable and loudly expressed conviction that "Normal people live surrounded by people, and not by decaying piles of woodpulp".
