About meI was born in Rourkela, Orissa, India and I grew up in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India; studied at St. Joseph's High School, Bhubaneswar, till the 8th grade and indulged in competitive Tennis right from when I was in the 5th grade. Through the sport, I traveled across cities in the country and grew up appreciating various cultures and perspectives. I spent three eventful years at TI Cycles Royappa Tennis Academy in Chennai, Tamil Nadu where I repeated 8th grade at TI Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ambattur; did my 9th grade at Sir Ramaswamy Mudaliar Higher Secondary School around Ambattur; and took my 10th boards privately, again in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

After High-School, I graduated with Physics, from BJB College, Utkal University, Orissa, and then earned a PGDM from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. Life after studies was never too easy for a sensitive soul bought up with the independence associated with competitive sport. I struggled to find succor in various areas of work, and after years of seeking, embarked on a career in education and training for want of leeway to figure out my calling.

During late 2014, while in Rourkela, Orissa, India as a Business Partner of CL Educate Ltd, I was dabbling with writing something to soothe my soul, and began on a journey that culminated in my first novel: For A Pint of Mother's Milk. I have successfully setup my own publishing company Views From The Left Publishing Project represented by in my efforts to make this novel a commercial success.

I tweet a lot and have tweeted a lot in the last three years on social and political concerns and have been cheeky enough to suspect that they have made a positive difference in society, somehow, somewhere. Follow me on twitter @avishek_sahu8. I live in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India with my wife Anita and my dog, Diesel; and also have my parents close around to drive home that precious little caution that I have often thrown to the winds!

About my libraryThis Catalogue got built over time, through relationships I made, through money I made, and through chances I took. While there are items listed here that I own, there may be a few among them that I haven't yet perused.
