About meI have loved to read since I was 9 (1975) and I was helped to overcome disylexia. I am seldom without a book.
About my libraryLots of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Westerns, History, with some of almost everything. It is mostly in storage. I hate to get rid of any book but I have started to sometimes give away or sell some that are not too good. I have not counted in a long time but it must be 20,000 by now.

Thanks warmly for making an author's day! I NEVER do the ordinary, by way of the predictable - long been both a pet peeve and a trademark! (and at least with THIS book, I don't get whines by readers asking to write it into a series...grin!)
Cheers - your grandmother sounds like she was an INCREDIBLE person. I am sure you will miss her - strength like that is so upstanding and rare. My applause.
I do hope next year you will stay longer, and that we can do that party after "table hours" are over! Happy reading, meantime.
