GroupsBanned Books, BannedBooksLibrary

About meBannedBooksLibrary is a LTer Project Library that will contain books that were and are banned, challenged, or otherwise censored throughout the world. It's just getting up and started--if you would like to participate in the project, and receive a password to this account, please leave a comment on PhoenixTerran's profile. For more information, please check out this talk thread and the BannedBooksLibrary Group.

Note on LibraryThing policy: LibraryThing is designed for personal and organizational catalogs--books owned, read or wanted by a person or a clearly defined group of people. "List-making" accounts are generally forbidden. For a number of reasons, the Banned Books Library was given special permission to continue as a "catalog" of banned and challenged books. For further information on this decision, please see the conversation with Tim Spalding (starting at message 34) regarding this account.

Hi
I recently uploaded a cover scan for Sorts by Richard Allen. You are "You and None Other:" with me for this.
Well done Tim for allowing this project to go ahead.
I think it really adds something for me to be able to compare items in my library with those on banned books.

Keep up the great work guys.
Hi, I just joined this site. Are you a writer too?
We've been given permission by Tim to continue the BannedBooksLibrary project!
Looks like we're going to need a paid account soon. I'm willing to fork over the money, but won't be able to until Friday. Unless someone else wants to do it before then?
