About meProfessional cataloger, libertarian, polylector, and compulsive book collector. I am deeply irreligious, generally curious, and suspicious of people who use jargon in casual conversation and cite authorities for fun.

About my librarySo, my landlady made me a deal: same rent but a larger apartment that's harder to rent. What's this mean? It means that I now have a room devoted to my books.

The collection is fairly diverse, but there are a few categories that get me reaching for my wallet: good horror anthologies, psychiatric case studies, Call of Cthulhu RGP stuff, certain other RPG items, anything on Mexican and Mayan antiquities, funky Biblical translations in weird languages, a bit of crime fiction, anything related to the Zohar, cool illustrated works, and most anything else that grabs my fancy without insulting my intelligence. I tend to not piss away my time/money on the tastes of the mean, though on occasion I regret to say I have ventured in to the pre-approved realms of popular media with mixed results.

If you're interested in what's on my fantasy menu, my wish list may be found on LT under the username, "Livyatan."

Have I pointed out my book to you yet? Apologies if I have: I Think, Therefore Who Am I? (Memoir of a Psychedelic Year). Ashley in the entheogens group read and reviewed it, along with two other LTers. It's also been reviewed on amazon and barnes&noble. I'm looking for good readers.
True, we don't see him die in the book but he is attempting suicide by climbing onto the subway tracks. I'm on the "he's dead, Jim" side of the fence at the moment.

A continuation with the stripper-turned-private-investigator character might be workable.
I read your review on Songs of Innocence. Something tells me that John Blake won't be developing more as a character, unless Ardai does a prequel. Or maybe his fate at the end of Songs of Innocence is debatable?
