About meBiblioholic. Bibliomaniac. Hopelessly addicted to horror and dark fantasy. Mom to 6 furkids - 2 canine, 4 feline. Goth/horror doll collector. If I had the money I'd furnish my home entirely from the Egyptian, medieval, and gothic furniture offerings of Design Toscano. Oh, and books, of course!

About my libraryPretty eclectic collection - I've been told eccentric is more apt. Lots of interplay between fiction and non-fiction. Horror, science fiction, dark fantasy on the fiction side relates to religion, mythology/folklore, thanatology on the non-fiction side. Plus everything in between. It's a rare book that I'll pick up and not finish and even the bad ones end up finding a home here. I find it next to impossible to get rid of a book!

LocationNJ - about 5 minutes outside NYC

Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks for the wonderful note! You are clearly a busy reader.
I love love love your profile picture; what's it from?
Looks like we have some interests in common! I agree, a shopping spree at Design Toscano would be sweet.
Thank-you so much for the books you picked out for me on SantaThing! I've already read Rising and can't wait to get to Twilight.
