Hey, girlfriend. Are you still alive? I've texted you. I really really miss you! Please keep in touch!
kay.
I loved Rabbit is Rich. It was witty and light, but intelligently written.
Aw, shucks! Thank you! Sorry I didn't like it all that much (never overly keen on short stories) but I wrote my thoughts down after each chapter. There's certainly lots to analyse in that book!
I'll put it in my queue. I am so sorry I didn't read the classics before. I read the compulsory ones in high school except for The House of Seven Gables. I read a lot of Dickens, and just recently made a study of Thomas Hardy. I read Anna Karenina in my youth. I feel like I muissed a lot of them.
Hey, I finished Aunr Julia and the Scriptwriter. Thanks for the endorsement. "Next" by James Hynes from the reading list is very good. Ditto to the Room by Emma Donoghue.
What are you reading now?
Lynn
I'll put it on my request list. Thanks for a recommendation. Love you!
Hey, What are you reading?
So sorry. So sorry.
Dr. Elaine Newton's reading list is well worth it and guarantees you won't pick up a dumb book and waste your time reading it. I am almost all the way through it and am enjoying it. It was my aim to go completely through it and I have about 2 titles left. All of the books were available at the public library, except for one but they where able to get it for me.
I sent you a packet of must reads. Watch for your mail! It included The Falls, by Joyce Carol Oates, Convent of the Little Flowers, by Indu Sundaresan, The Women, by T.C. Boyle, and Sea of Poppies, by Amitav Ghoush.
Check out Blue Shoe by Anne Lamott from your library. It's a quick read and well worth it. I will look up Nineteenth Wife, Thanks.

Your favorite cousin,
Lynn
Most of them were many years ago but sometimes I get in the mood for her writing, (she was so good), but it's hard to find much in print.

I see we read alot of the same books!
Thanks for listing my on your interesting library list. What are you reading now? I just finished [Inkheart], a YA adult adventure which I adored, and am now reading [Always Looking Up] by Michael J. Fox.

Nice to meetcha!
Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks for adding me a friend.

I am looking forward your comment.

Hi

Thanks for commenting on my page and it is nice to meet you too
I bought Papa Martell and signed up for a lifetime sub!
This library represents the books I have read (that I can remember). I own lots more books and have more books to read (don't we all). It's nice to find this site where people share my passion for reading and good literature. My other passion is shopping... especially shoes and sweaters, but any shopping trip lifts my spirits, like a trip to the book store. Thank you all for being here, and I hope I will receive some comments. I just love to talk books.
