Things have been good with me. I moved into a place with a grand kitchen a few months back, and I've been having the greatest time experimenting with recipes. (The crock-pot risoto--a success! The mushroom pot pies--not so much.) Now if only I can bring myself to be equally dedicated to weeding through my book collection....
Up on BM and reserved for you!

I've seen Anno Dracula, The Iron Dragon's Daughter, A Taste of Blood Wine
May want to adjust quantity depending on what amount of books would make a practical package.

And I picked up Isle of Night tonight at Chapters, so when I'm bored tonight at 2am and stuck at work, I have something cool to read. Of course my best friend also had to pick up a copy for herself too.
Have you read Fateful by Claudia Gray yet? Werewolves, on the Titanic! It's a very quick read, but so engaging.

That is so annoying when they log on but do not answer an email. Thank you for sending the other books. Always a pleasure to mooch with you.

The Dr whos are uk although Glamour chase refuses to list properly and shows up as something else - The pictures right the titles right all the way through and then when you go to the inventory it shows up as a different title.

In the meantime, I am looking for books to go with your Angel mooch, but it's pretty difficult. I have a copy of the Shadow of the Wind that I'm probably not going to re-read, but I think you want a specific edition of that. I also think I have two English versions of We're Going on a Bear Hunt (and two Dutch ones - the kids love that book to pieces). If you're interested in either of the books, I can see if I can actually wrest them out of the grubby hands of whoever has gotten hold of them.
OT - Are you following Miracle Day? What do you think of it so far?

In the meantime, I am happy to suggest some. I have both Dracula and Frankenstein, but in un-annotated versions. And LT suggests you could be interested in Mark Haddon's [A spot of bother], which I happen to have a second copy of, but it does look like a atypical book for your library.

BUT...ONLY...ONLY...IF the postage cost will not be ridiculous!

Our mooch has been accepted with the following delay message:
"The earliest I can send the book is in May as You are currently 24th in line and I can only send 5 books per month. I hope that this works for you."
Hope you have one or two books stashed away to keep you busy until then!

You are having a rough time (hugs) so I was happy to see you are getting some wished for books.
I have 2 books that I am going to perhaps post on BM. (Not sure what to do with all this "crap" going on.
The Shivering Sanda by Victoria Holt
Goddess of the Green Room by Jean Plaidy
Both books have shelf wear but spine is firm & all pages intact.
Let me know if you're interested.

Just an update on "The Quantum Thief". It arrived from Tez today and is in excellent condition. As you so kindly agreed for me to read it first, I'll get to it next up - and try very hard not to mess it up too much!! *lol*
And of course, you are more than welcome to read "Howl's Moving Castle" before sending on. :-)
Have a happy and safe 2011
