About me I am 27 years old and I currently reside with my husband in northwestern Indiana, two miles south of the Michigan border. I graduated with a history degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 2002. From there I moved on to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado where I received my master's degree in public history with a concentration on the American West. I have been working in various archives and museums since my sophomore year in college and am currently employed as an archivist at a university. I enjoy exploring my surroundings, learning to cook, going to the lake (Lake Michigan!), hanging out with my friends, and...reading!

About my library My personal library consists mostly of fiction novels and history books (see above academic degree choices!), with a smattering of older children's books that I inherited from my mother and some of my own favorites that I saved from my childhood and teen years. I'm also cultivating a current obsession with cookbooks. I intend to keep it growing!

We seem to share a number of books. Those historians tend to appreciate the same things.
