About meHere I am with authors Clive Cussler (right) and his son and co-author Dirk Cussler in Clive's home office in Paradise Valley, AZ in February 2006. (photo: Rob Greer)

My educational background is in history (BA, MA) and education (MA). I served in the Army on active duty from 1987-93, plus another year in the California National Guard.

I make my living as an archivist for a large, member service nonprofit organization and live in Claremont, a college town 35 miles east of LA.

About my libraryMy book collecting interests focus primarily on signed first editions in the genres of action adventure, mystery, historical fiction, and literary non-fiction. Non-fiction areas include U.S. history, U.S. military and naval/maritime history.

I am a member of the Cussler Collector's Society (yes, such a thing exists). My Cussler collection represents the largest single body of work by an author on my shelves. It includes U.S. first editions of all his works, plus many book club, ARCs, and UK first editions, all of which are signed.

This Cussler collection is by no means the largest out there but it is an excellent gathering of Clive's work in fine condition and, like all my books, gives me great pleasure to read and see on the shelves.

The author cloud on my profile describes the rest. Thanks for looking!
