About me I recently finished a graduate degree in English. I am a bookseller (among other assorted occupations, including college instructor) - hence the user name. I cannot remember names and titles related to movies or music to save my life, but book information seems to permanently attach itself to my brain - unless you suddenly ask what I've read lately; then I blank. My reading tastes can sometimes make bookselling a very challenging venture. I am usually reading multiple books simultaneously (at this writing, I believe I am actively engaged in reading 6 books).
About my library I am working to catalog the books that are in my possession. Every title you see here I have pulled from the shelf to enter. Many I have read; many I have not; many books I have read will not be listed here because they do not live with me, sadly. Some I want to read desperately; some I have felt pressured to read but have so far ignored; the stories of how some found their way here are shrouded in the mists of time. Those that I detest or that do not hold any interest for me at this time will remain on my shelves - real and virtual - because I am pathologically incapable of disposing of a book once it has entered my realm. I will try to mark, honestly, the books I have read (in full or in part) and the ones I am currently working on.
