About meLibrarything is a heaven sent dose of reality (i.e., I am not alone nor do I possess a library unique in its expansiveness) such that my joy in arrival is counterbalanced by my awareness of my beginner status. When my cataloguing and collecting time lines intersect, I am guessing my collection will number around a thousand. I have a degree in counseling psychology and am currently entertaining the idea of further study in psychology or speech communication.
About my libraryBooks which have most influenced my thinking include:
- The Road Less Traveled, by M. Scott Peck;
- Family Evaluation, by Michael E. Kerr (based on Bowenian Family Systems Theory)
- Man's Search for Meaning, by Victor E. Frankl;
- Moral Politics: How Liberals and Conservatives Think by George Lakoff;
- Gifts Differing: Understanding Personality Type by Isabel Briggs Myers
- Emotional Intelligence, by Daniel Goleman;
- ADHD and the Nature of Self-Control by Russell A. Barkely;
- The Book of Daniel: A Novel by E.L. Doctorow.
