About meI'm a History lover who would rather spend money on books than on most vices

About my libraryThese books reflect my intellectual interests. I believe that in a world full of shallow celebrity and the dumbing down of every day life, it's a good thing on many levels to have a home library. Unfortunately there are too many books to read but too little time.......and too little money to spend on books for that matter !!!

Thanks for adding me to your interesting libraries. I noticed we have a few books in common.
Thanks for accepting my friends invitation. What I like about this site is, I can see people here who had read the work I read, the works I think as important. In our lives, there are always a limited number of people around us, who can share our intrests. It seems that we have at least 25 books in common, mostly about Roman, Byzantine and medieval history. You really have a good collection.
We seem to have many interests in common, although we do not share too many books. I'll keep an eye on your collection, to see how it grows. (Great photo, by the way).
