About meI've been a freelance writer since 1978, and my poetry, articles, and short stories have appeared in over 490 magazines in the U.S., Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Romania, New Zealand, Australia, and Malaysia. I reviewed record albums for Rockingchair Magazine and wrote lyrics for the rock band ShadowFox. I've also penned over 20 books. Teaming with co-author, David Rimer, we created the critically acclaimed seven-novel Bucktail series about the Civil War sharpshooters, the 42nd Pennsylvania Volunteers. My interest in folktales and ghost stories led me to write three collections of macabre tales and poems gleaned from my home area in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Preserving our local heritage has become my life's work.

As you probably gathered from my review, I really enjoyed Lurking In Pennsylvania. I have yet to explore any of the Bucktail series, but I am trying to get our library's acquisitions committee to add these to our Pennsylvania Collection.
