About meI love picture books! I illustrate and write children's picture books. A good picture book cannot be told without the pictures, nor can it be told without the words. There must be a perfect harmony between the two mediums. Additionally, the images must captivate the children. The best compliment I have ever received was encountering a child completely absorbed in the images of "Red Cat, Red Cat, Red Cat, Blue." I write with rhythm, and some of the reviewers on Amazon have said that my work reminds them of Dr. Seuss, which is quite a compliment and aspiration. On a personal note, I also have four daughters and four granddaughters with another granddaughter on the way. We have a mystery-gender grandbaby due next spring, too.

About my libraryMy library is very small right now because I am very new to LibraryThing. I imagine that I will fill it with my favorite children's picture books, which are my passion.
