About meI've been working in the publishing industry (religious) for more than twenty years. Book collecting is a sort of "busman's holiday" for me. I enjoy browsing used and rare bookshops when I get the chance, especially when travelling for business. The internet is fine, but nothing beats the experience of a real bookshop.
About my libraryMy library is larger than it should be, but not nearly as large as it could be. My main foci are Mark Twain, Roman Catholicism (esp. 19th Century), Edgar A. Guest, G. K. Chesterton, Frank Sheed and Maisie Ward, Ronald Knox, Henri J.M. Nouwen, John Dunning, and anything related enough to these authors and subjects to be enticing. I find it difficult to part with a good book, and entirely too easy to give orphaned volumes a good home.
