About me I'm a librarian, 61, married, father to a college male. Je parle couramment le francais. I have hundreds of books but little time. Any series (e.g. The World of Time, Galactic Milieu) you see a few books from, I have probably read all published to date (but may not own all). Often the same is true of authors (e.g. Aldous Huxley, Andre Norton). You can find books I have read recently, but do not own listed under the same handle (Bombadillo) at shelfari.com . You can check out my rambling writing at cosmicgoof.blogspot.com .

About my library I am able to enter some of my fantasy from memory, but my non-fiction (e.g. French History, African History) awaits my ability to actually enter books from my home computer (think dialup). Classic novels are also waiting (they are not recent editions.) I think our kitchen is the only room without a bookshelf or three.

*M,S&T*: no worries, hope you like the rest. --Tikitu
Cheers for the comment on Potter -- I guess you (like me) don't have the self-restraint to stop at just reading one of the books in a bound-together collection ^_^

Glancing over your library I wonder if you've read the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy by Tad Williams (confusingly not titled Memory, Sorrow and Thorn, but The Dragonbone Chair, Stone of Farewell and To Green Angel Tower). It's a self-contained fantasy, I think you might enjoy it (don't be fooled by "you share no books with tikitu", I've read a good portion of what you've posted although I don't own any of it).
Thanks for the recommendation; I'll check it out.
