About meI am 22 years old and because of my mom I love to read. Proud to be Baltimore, Maryland born and raised.
I currently attend AACC in pursuit of my Bachelors in Forensic Science. The kid in me still wants to fight crime.
My attempt at vegetarianism was a short stint. It's hard when your favorite food is chicken.
I am a huge Harry Potter nerd and a Star Trek geek. I prefer to read Fantasy, science fiction, and murder mystery but I'm also open to anything...but biographies.
I would say I have a very open mind, and I wear my heart on my sleeve. Currently I have 3 tattoos but I will be adding to the number very shortly.
I'm a huge movie buff. The only thing better than curing up with a good book is going to the theater.
Television has managed to suck me in as well and I like to watch Fringe, The Office, House, Legend of the Seeker, Merlin and re-runs of Star Trek: The Original Series and Jericho!

I enjoyed Heart-Shaped Box very much. It is about a dead man's suit, but there is much more going on than that. There are relationship issues, past family issues that refuse to go away, and a ghost thrown in to make everything really interesting! It was a great scary read. Let me know what you think if you decide to read it.

PS I know I will read 50 before you. You are very busy with work and school and I have nothing else to do now but read.

It must have been exciting to learn you can read books Legends of the Seeker is based from! It sounds like you think the actors on the show can do better. I hope the books satisfy you much more! $5 for two books is a great price! Used bookstore finds are fantastic.
How thick are the books? Are they longer than the later Harry Potter books?
Happy reading!

You're welcome. I've never heard of The Sword of Truth books. What are they about? I can't imagine a book larger than my seven-year-old cat (13 pounds), but larger than the kittens...most definitely! Those things just seem to stay small like little dolls at ten months.
Ah, it seems like you someone impressed me with the book enough that I decided to get it. I have yet to read it, though. It does seem to come well recommended in the Hogwarts Express group. Members there best control which books come into my home. If only we could read them as fast as they arrive! I'm worried how long it may be before I get to it but we always intend to read them at some point, even in the near future.
