About meI am a Christian seeking to know my Savior, Jesus Christ, more and to worship Him more fully.
I play the trumpet and the soprano bugle, the latter in a marching alumni drum and bugle corps.
After having so much fun entering all my books here, I found DVDSpot.com to do the same with all my DVDs. My DVD collection is second only to my book collection, which means I could use a lot more wall space.
Because I now have so many DVDs of movies, music and TV, I no longer seek (nor expect to find) any form of entertainment from broadcast television - with the exception of 24 on Monday nights, January through May.
In fact, ever since I started getting all my news from either the Internet or conservative talk radio (Ingraham, Prager, Medved, Hewitt) all day at work, I no longer even rely on TV for news, especially since I now see every genre on television (be it news, entertainment or sports) as nothing more than the propoganda arm of the Democrat Party.
Have a great day!
About my libraryMostly Christian with a smattering of classic novels and an ever-growing selection of non-fiction history and current events titles. Oh, and a LOT of Garfield the cat cartoon books, though not a complete collection of those.

By the way, I just finished reading a book called The Shack by William Young that you may like. Have you heard of it? It is a novel about a father who, devastated by the death of his daughter, spend a weekend with God (literally) and re-learns about God's love. The theology is nothing radical, but the presentation really shakes things up and gets you thinking.
