I will certainly sign-up for the online Toronto Book Club now that my antiquated pc has been set aside for a significantly faster model.
All the best!

Thanks for the invite to the Book Buzz online chat. I was too late for the Dress Lodger, but I am picking up The Glass Castle today. I will register, and look forward to joining the discussion for April.

Thanks for the invite to the chat on The Time Traveler's Wife. I was very interested in checking it out, but unfortunately was at work too late that day. I will check out your link for the future though.
Thanks again,
Jen

That sounds so awesome! I loved The Time Traveller's Wife, and Audrey Niffenegger's other book is on my TBR list. Although I would love to join in the online book club, I'll actually be travelling on the 15th. Ironic? Hahah It's a fantastic idea though, and I hope to be able to participate sometime in the future.
Keep me posted,
Monica

I just read your note from March (as you can tell I don't check my account much). At Innisfil we have also spoken with authors by phone at our book club (we had Jacquelyn Mitchard on the line in May). Gil Adamson will be our guest author this October during Ontario Public Library week. Feel free to contact me (mpethick@innisfil.library.on.ca) bye

Thanks again for the invite to join in the conversation at Book Buzz. I've popped in a few times to see what readers are saying. Great forum--I'll be back for sure. I've ordered a few new Canadian titles (including The Outlander) to be shipped ahead of me to meet me in Toronto this summer. Lisa See's book looks promising--will the conversation continue into July/August?

Thanks for the invite. I visited Book Buzz--it looks great and I registered as a user. I don't actually have The Outlander on hand, but I'll try to get a hold of the next book and hope to join in the discussions.

thanks for your note.
I have not read the Gil Adamson's book yet, and quite honestly I do not know when I will get to it.
I will be popping in, though, just to see what goes on.
Happy reading!

I appreciate your information on the Book Club. I am always interested in new ways to discuss books so will look into it. I have Inside on my TBR pile so it depends on whether I can get to it in time.
Thanks and nice to meet you.

Yes, on both counts - I have seen him read and heard him speak on his books. Lots of authors who are associated with Hollins (alumnae, professors, etc) are featured for readings. I've also been fortunate enough to be able to take a class with him, a seminar on advanced creative writing. It was the best prose workshop I've ever had. Many of my friends have said the same thing. He's signed my books :D

Thank you for the invitation to the discussions. I just bought Custodian of Paradise and haven't had a chance to read it yet. But it's close to the front of my TBR line! If I finish it in time, I would love to join in the discussions--looks like fun!
Thanks,
Christina
