About meWife of 22 years, to a wonderful man that loves the Lord. Home schooling mother of four children (two still in school) ages 21, 19, 17, and 15. My whole family loves to read. Our favorite store is Hyde Brothers Books, a great old used book store. We live in a large rambling post Civil War house, lined with book shelves.
About my libraryI love all sorts of books, I shelve them by subject. My daughters, Madelyne(books_ofa_feather) and Elyza(book_in_hand), help me find my books. We're always on the look out for a homeless book. Most of my books are geared to younger readers. Newberys, Landmarks, etc. I love books about wilderness living, pioneers, and Alaska.
Bare with me as my daughters help me catalog all my books. Which will be a slow process, as I'm sure the number when finished will be over 4,000.
My Profile picture is of my daughter Madelyne's dog Lewis. He is named for C.S. Lewis. Lewis the Library Dog :).Lewis passed away July 24th,09 we certainly miss our little dog.

This catalog was originally Zion's collection, and this summer I'm dumping books from the Unity library into it as fast as I can. I'm pleasantly surprised that there hasn't been a lot of duplication of titles. Glad to know you like what we have!
