About meBookilicious is a book group begun in winter 2008 by four members of Manchester Metropolitan University library staff. We are a small but elegant and select book group with a perfect cross section of literary tastes; a designer with classic English detective fiction affinities, a rare books bibliophile and first edition hunter, a linguist in the vanguard of modernism and an amateur historian who comes over faint with anything later than 1880. So, a good mix for monthly meetings in beautiful settings - local pubs, Northern spa towns and stately homes - where we dine, discuss our chosen book and of course pudding is obligatory.

Afternoon everyone!

Have just been looking at my library on here and am still needing to update it! Hope everyone's good. Cheerio for now, L x.

P.S. That picture looks lovely apart from that stranger second from the right.
Hello fellow book group ladies. I hope that you like the picture and are still enjoying the magic of librarything.
