About meI'm a 36 year old newspaper copy editor from Connecticut. I'm also a wannabe fiction writer, yeah but then who isn't. I have a couple of blogs, besides the one listed here you can also visit giantmonsters.blogspot.com, especially if you like Godzilla, King Kong and others of their ilk.

About my libraryI have hundreds and hundreds of books. I'd say the majority are science fiction or fantasy, most of which are paperback. I have been picking up more hardcovers these days, but paperbacks still predominate.

Welcome to Books Compared! I enjoyed your reviews, and hope you'll join the BC discussion and perhaps feel inspired to post a comparison of your own. Now I will have to read Never Let Me Go and see if I can spot a literal reason why everyone was so interested in the stranded boat. Metaphors get a little too heavy-handed if they're only there for the sake of metaphor.
