About meI'm a grad student in Classical Studies at Duke, navigating between the demands of academia and the allure of book collecting.

About my libraryI've been a bibliophile for as long as I can remember, but the seed of my current library is the ~500 books I inherited from a family friend in 1996. Inspired by her abiding interests in, among other things, T.E. Lawrence and 19th-century exploration as reflected in her collection, I began to similarly explore my fascinations through book acquisition (not, alas, a cheap hobby).
By putting my entire library online, I'll finally have some way of sorting through all the books that have heretofore been vaguely separated by category and tower over me in groaning shelves. It's a good feeling.
