About meI am the Research and Information Support Librarian at the Cancer Care Research Centre, University of Stirling.

The Cancer Care Research Centre (CCRC) was established in October 2003. Our aim is to carry out research which will improve cancer care services throughout the UK.

There is no other research centre in the UK which looks solely at cancer care from the patient's viewpoint. To do this successfully means putting patients at the centre of our work.

About my libraryThe CCRC library is located on the ground floor of Unit 2 Scion House, between reception and the meeting room. The collection contains books, journals, CCRC reports, newsletters, leaflets and multi-media items. The library is open to anyone and visitors can borrow items for up to a month.

Visitors are welcome to visit the library between 9am and 4pm, Monday-Friday to browse or, if you prefer, you can make an appointment with our Research and Information Support Librarian, Sara Walker on 01786 8490260 or sara.walker@stir.ac.uk and can discuss your particular requirements before you visit.
