Churchill: A Life.
I read your review of Last Call and share your opinion that history is best learned through study of the individuals that shaped it, rather than simply a review of the events themselves. In that vein, I highly recommend Martin Gilbert's brilliant one volume biography of Churchill. Lots of history there.
Thanks for your highly satisfying denunciation of *Eat, Pray, Love*.
