About meThe Gunn Center for the Study of Science Fiction brings together scholars, educators, writers, and readers to grow understanding and help develop the potential of the speculative fiction genres. CSSF offers educational programs about literature and craft and works to integrate SF with the fields that shape SF content, including the liberal arts and the social and physical sciences. We offer a number of SF courses and writing workshops, the summer Campbell Conference, and two major awards: the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award for best short SF, and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for best SF novel. For full information, see our website: http://sfcenter.ku.edu
About my librarySpeculative fiction at the University of Kansas includes the lending library at Watson, our fully browsable library in Wescoe Hall, and the research collection (including many original manuscripts and other papers) at Spencer Research Library.
