About meI like people, food, animals. Furthermore, I'm a teacher by vocation, though not currently by occupation. I've got a lot to work through regarding that, on an ideological level. I am a vegetarian and I enjoy cooking greatly. I live in Austin, though I'm shopping for a countries in South America that'll have me. I'm very much into self-empowerment through student-centered education, metacognition, and empathy. I also play hockey.

About my libraryLots of school books, lots of satire. Love Vonnegut, love Pynchon, love Brautigan. As far as school stuff, I love Freire, Giroux, hooks, Ayers. I also enjoy sociological issues in both fiction and nonfiction form. Many of the books I have yet to read, although I get excited just thinking about them.
I think words, and books especially, have a metaphysical power unlike anything else in the universe.
