About meI love quilting and am a member of the North Star Quilters in Vancouver, Washington. I go through books like water and have become very involved in BookCrossing. Books and fabric both compete for my time and space in my house!
I enjoy walking, computer games, movies and TV. I love to travel when I get the chance.
About my libraryMy library includes both books I own and books I've read that don't belong to me. My intention is to use this as a catalog to keep from accidently duplicating books that I've already read.
I began adding books to LibraryThing in February 2008 and have many more to go. Eventually I plan to re-read my entire personal library so I can decide which ones I really want to keep, and which ones I'd like to discard so I can free up space. (For more books, of course!)
Some of my tags:
BX - Books I intend to register and release on BookCrossing.com.
library - Library books I've read or am reading.
released - Books that I've already released through BookCrossing.
returned - These were borrowed and have been returned.

Writing is my dream job, so I feel really lucky. I've met a lot of authors by now, and they're usually really nice people . If you want to write, you should give it a go sometime! Everyone starts somewhere, and it's a lot of fun too. I still remember the feeling of accomplishment I had when I typed "The End" on my first manuscript. (Of course it didn't sell, but it was cool, all the same.)
I'm so grateful for the Internet -- especially as a reader. Now it's so easy to find out about LOTS of amazing new books! And my library just started offering downloadable e-books, so it's easier than ever to pile up new reading material. I've got four books waiting on my PDA right now. You've got to love technology. :)
Have a great weekend.
Lisa :)
