Hi Irene,

I'm writing in response to your comment left on Tim's profile. You can't add an event without it belonging to a "venue" on Local. You will have to first add the Robin Falls as a venue, then add your event to the venue. If this does not make sense or you need further assistance please feel free to email me: daniel@librarything.com

Cheers!
Dan
Hi,definetly I will check it out!!!
Hi Irene, Look at my library for a review of your book of poetry. Thank you for your kindness in sending me your book. I enjoyed it. Good luck with furure writing. I have a strange problem on my page. All of a sudden everything is underlines. I don't know what goes on but I can ask my kids to help me with it. Very strange. I don't know if you can see it when you view my page. Mary Beth
Hi Irene,
Your book did arrive safely and my daughter and I have been reading a page or two, but I have not had a chance to sit down and read the whole book because life has been really crazy over the last few days. I liked being reminded of Barnabas Collins. I remember coming home (from junior high, I think) and looking forward to watching "Dark Shadows." every day. I explain to my daughters that it was a soap opera with vampires and werewolves and witches. They should do one now. It would go over well, I think. I loved being scared. I will do a review as soon as I get to read the whole thing. It presents very nicely (cover, etc.) Thanks again, Mary Beth
hello mary beth. please let me know if you received my book.
Hope this email finds you in the best of health.

Irene,
Where it says you have no book reviews it means that you have not done any book reviews on books you have read. When you click on add books, then put in the ISBN, the computer pulls up the book you have read, you put in your tags or descriptive words like fiction, debut author,coming-of-age, whatever describes the book best. Then you save that information and click on edit book, that brings you to a page where you can input more information and there is a spot for a review. put your review of at least 25 words in there and save it. If you look to the left on the page where you can put this information in, you will see "Common Knowledge" click on that and you can see that there is several slots for a variety of information that you can fill in if you wish. That helps to provide others with all sorts of information about something they may want to read and also I think we get credit for doing that symbolized by little badges. Your reviews can help you get the Early Reviewer books also, not the content of the review but the fact that you did the review on this site. So when they say you have no reviews they mean you have not submitted any reviews on books you have read. I hope that helped.MB
Hi Irene, I think that viewers will just see the book review when perusing my page here at LT, but if you'd like we can try to find another site that accepts reviews so that you can get more exposure. The best thing to do on LT is to sign in as an LTAuthor. Abbie or ablachy is the one who will help you with that. If you go to her profile page she probably has her e-mail address which is where you should address any questions regarding LT. She uses her profile and home page just as we do, for LT fun! I'll be watching for your book. Thanks for the autograph. If I finish a short story soon, maybe you could take a look for me and give me some advice. I submit to several literary mags, Rambler, The Writer, Tin House, etc.wherever I can find a contest. MB
I'll be watching for it. Looking forward to it. MB
My home address is 37 Bolton Lane, West Creek, NJ 08092. My name is Mary Beth Mignano. I would be happy to put my review on Librarything in a timely fashion for you. I will let you know when I have rec'd the book. Thank you for considering me. Mary Beth
Hi, You left me a message asking if I would review poetry and I wanted to let you know that I have actually had a great deal of experience reading and reviewing poetry as my professor and mentor in college was a well-known, much published poet who lives in south Jersey. His name is Stephen Dunn. Are you familiar with him? He was nominated for Poet Laureate but Robert Pinsky won, and the current Laureate is Billy Collins whom I met several times due to my relationship with Prof. Dunn. We had many visiting poets come to Stockton and read, and I had many poetry courses. I write short stories, different genres and review mostly fiction, but will review non-fiction if that is what I am reading. For instance, I am reading John Adams' biography now and will be reviewing that soon. I will be glad to review your book if you would supply a copy. Let me know. I will review it on this site, and submit it to any others you may suggest or that I can find appropriate. Mary Beth
Hi Irene,

We don't currently have a place to link to reviews, but we're going to add one. In the meantime, if you're interested, you can join LibraryThing as a "LibraryThing Author," showcasing some of your personal books for interested readers. Find out more at http://www.librarything.com/librarything...

You can also upload a photo, and post links to your homepage, blog, interviews and articles.

Best,
Abby
