In fact I admire what Bill Gates and Microsoft have done and achieved - quite a lot indeed.
It is just that having used Linux for almost 15 years now, I have become used to some things that I do not find in the Microsoft world in the same way - especially the Open Source approach which to me not only means "cheap" software, but more importantly the direct and mostly friendly and supportive contact to developers.
On the other hand I do use Windows in my practice and for special software (homoeopathy e.g.) that does not really work too well with Linux yet.
So Redmon is ok, really. Don“t be put off :-)
