About meI live with my husband on a grain farm in central Ohio, and I've taught American Literature in a small public high school for 32 years. We have 3 adult children, 6 grandchildren, and a boxer named Carmen. My reading tastes are eclectic: historical non-fiction, Shakespeare, "cozy" English mysteries, hard-boiled thrillers, biographies, nineteenth-century American literature in general, and Mark Twain in particular.

My user name (and our dog's name) is the title of the alma mater of Ohio State. I have enormous affection for the university and all things Buckeye!
