For the 2010 reading challenge I would like you to read your SS prezzie 'Mariana' by Monica Dickens. It's one I've been meaning to read myself so will join you in reading it. Hope that's ok and I've added you as a friend.

You and I don't share a lot of books, so have gone for one that looks an attractive read - I hope I get the time to read it myself: I Am Rembrandt's Daughter by Lynn Cullen.

I've just finished reading that book you gave me, Season of the Witch by Natasha Mostert - I really enjoyed the story. I thought the writing was a little cliched at times, but for me it was very different, and a bit of a page turner!
Thanks for passing it on,
Michaela

I read it last year or early this year - a while ago anyway. I enjoyed it and I'm glad that you did too.

Yes, I really enjoyed it. I bought another book of hers today, but can't remember it's name. It's upstairs at the moment and I can't be bothered to go and fetch it! I am on holiday (I'm at my sister's in Paignton) so that's my excuse!
I know I've got The Bean Trees to read as well, as part of my LT Challenge, and I'm looking forward to that now.
