About meI am virgoan librarian working in a Public Library in inner city Sydney, NSW. As well as books and reading I like to spent time in my garden and in the bush and engage in a variety of creative/constructive activities. I rarely pass up an opportunity to share a meal or a coffee with friends.
About my libraryI enjoy collecting and reading fiction and non-fiction books written by African Writers, also a wide variety of other writing including literary fiction, crime, travel, ancient history, archaeology, especially by Australasian, British, contemporary Indian, Icelandic, West indian, Canadian and some US writers especially women, in a variety of genres.
There was a time when I had read all the books I owned, now I've a lot of catching up to do as I regularly succumb to temptation and read a lot from the library where I work.

I don't know if you're still interested in books about Cornwall, but I've just come across Patrick Gale, who lives near Lands End. His latest book "Notes on an Exhibition" is a real treat. It was a nostalgic read for me as he mentions places in Penzance that I know well. He has a website http://www.galewarning.org/index/flash.h... which lists all his books, his appearances at Festivals etc. and a bit about his life.
Hope all is well in your life.

Mary Wesley, who didn't start writing until her late 60s, wrote frothy, amusing, zip-through novels, many of which were set in Cornwall, e.g. The Camomile Lawn.
