About meA former simple student of computer science. currently employed as a Developer for web-oriented systems development company in the Netherlands. On one hand I enjoy relaxing, listening to or playing music and study various topics reading books. While the act of reading itself (novels) does not appeal too much to me, I do love studying and reflecting on various topics I read.

On the other hand I much enjoy practising all sorts of sports such as squash, pool billiards, cycling, swimming and in-line skating. Of course, with the theoretical preference I have, I tend to study to improve these activities as well. :-)

About my libraryAlmost all of my books are the result of my interest in various scientific topics. Currently I enjoy reading and learning about things like computer science, psychology, quantum theory and magic.

I started out collecting programming books (Java, PHP and such) to enable and improve my programming skills. Some of these and other computer science related books I read for my study. As a result I became more interested in theoretical science topics, mainly Logic, Mathematics and Physics. For the last few months my interest in this area has shifted towards C# (.NET) and XSLT, mainly due to professional opportunities with these technologies.

On the other hand, in my leisure time I have become a bit of a psychology junkie. Mostly the psychological philosophy allows me to study the human psyche (and my own) in the theoretical framework I prefer, with a few more concrete topics for a broader view.

Above all authors I admire the late genius Robert Anton Wilson for his amazingly brought and in depth knowledge about a near endless number of topics. His books are a joy to read for their clear philosophical ideas and refreshing humour.

I seek to add more psychological and quantum theory books to my library these days. Also I am looking to start reading more about various logic and theoretical mathematics topics soon. Suggestions are more then welcome! ;-)
