About my libraryI mostly read American fiction but also enjoy biography and history. I'm working on reading (and collecting) all of the Pulitzer Prize winners for fiction as well as at least one book by each Nobel Prize winner. The library also includes my husband's collection of railroad history.

How about this Friday, then, at 11 at Kensington Coffee? Which isn't Kensington Coffee any more, but I know what you meant. We spent a lot of time there when it first opened--that was B.S., Before Starbucks! We can have a coffee or tea, go to the book store, and then have lunch if we want to. Or vice versa.
Hi, Reba. Pleased to meet you!

Here's my current thread: http://www.librarything.com/topic/137995

And this group isn't terribly active, but it will help you locate some other San Diego LTers:

I'm taking a bit of a break from reading Pulitzers. I got burned out. I actually tried the Egan last year before it won and couldn't get through it. I don't know if I will try again, but now am left wondering if an attempt to read is as good as a read. I did think last year's winner, Tinkers, was excellent, though.
