Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Entrance
(After Rilke)

Whoever you are: step out of doors tonight,
Out of the room that lets you feel secure.
Infinity is open to your sight.
Whoever you are.
With eyes that have forgotten how to see
From viewing things already too well-known,
Lift up into the dark a huge, black tree
And put it in the heavens: tall, alone.
And you have made the world and all you see.
It ripens like the words still in your mouth.
And when at last you comprehend its truth,
Then close your eyes and gently set it free.

Wow. Thank you so much, CheriePie, for your note to me and your preliminary blurb on Finding Creatures & Other Stories. _Very_ happy-making!

:D Welcome to San Jose (in several months)! Always fun to know there'll be another book lover in the area! I'm trying to scoot around and add you back everywhere, but if I miss a place let me know.
Thanks for adding me to your friends list, appreciate it bunches!
I keep seeing you everywhere! PBS, Shelfari, LT... and you're always at the top of my list for members who share the most books with me.

I gotta say, I love your taste in books! :D
Hi Cherie, I just saw that you were here too. I've been reading your book blog for over a year. I've read some really great books thanks to your reviews.
Oh I'm already a member of Paperback swap..although I really haven't yet used it to 'buy' any books for nyself. It is a great place for me to get rid of all mny unwanted books. I'm Cats57 over there too. I'll be adding to my list of books to be swapped when the holidays are over.
Thanks for noticing, that's why I added you to my interesting libraries list! I keep looking to see what you're reading, and if I haven't read it yet, I'll go out and get the book *grin*!
I saw your review about Tithe and just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed it :-) I also loved your comment about Mt. TBR because I have one of those in my house too LOL Valiant was a very good story as well, but I thought it was pretty different from Tithe. Ironside (the Tithe sequel) is on my "hopefully will be buying soon" list.
I am still working my way through my BC shelf. I just got myself a cue cat - that at least sped up registering my actual bookshelf! I did enter BCIDs at first, but then stopped. I don't see what I gain from it?
Hi Cherie, didn't know you were over here as well! We share 57 books so far, but I am not done yet with registering them all...
Cath
Hey there we share 35 books, plus alot that i have not had time to put in yet!! Keep reading!
Lovers and loathers of Dan Brown and his on-off relationship with the English language are directed to http://chasmsoftheearth.blogspot.com/ You know it makes sense. Well, more sense than the book.
Hey SGC, Good to see you have already read Anita Blake. What do you think of the series as it continues? I feel like it's hit a real peak around book 6, and has gone a little downhill since then, but I'm going to stick with it a little longer.

(Great username btw...)
Hey, great list. Can I suggest The Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K Hamilton if you haven't already read it? I really love that series.

Take it easy

A couple of frivolous, but perhaps symptomatic, matches in our profiles. Firstly, Eclectic, a great word. And secondly, we’ve both read “Wuthering Heights” and “The “Story Of O”, great books, but not always beside each other on a bookshelf ;-)
Hey. If you want PBS, FR and LibraryThing to work together, I encourage you to lean on them about it. Their competitors BookMooch and WhatsonMyBookshelf were glad to integrate and let users pass books back and forth between their accounts. See http://www.librarything.com/blog/2006/09... .
