A Song Of The Future.
Sidney Lanier

Sail fast, sail fast,
Ark of my hopes, Ark of my dreams;
Sweep lordly o'er the drowned Past,
Fly glittering through the sun's strange beams;
Sail fast, sail fast.
Breaths of new buds from off some drying lea
With news about the Future scent the sea:
My brain is beating like the heart of Haste:
I'll loose me a bird upon this Present waste;
Go, trembling song,
And stay not long; oh, stay not long:
Thou'rt only a gray and sober dove,
But thine eye is faith and thy wing is love.
Hey Cheryl, thanks for grabbing those architecture books from the library they're great.

I can get you a picture if youd like but all you really have to do is gon on google and search images for what you want, save the image and than upload it onto librarything. Now Ive really got to go to goodwill to find me some good books for me too!

Jerm
Thanks for telling me about this site,Jeanne
I also have a number of Mary O'Hara's books, and see we are the only ones on LT with her autobiography, Flicka's Friend. What a interesting, sad, strange life she had. She was a great American writer, but unappreciated in my opinion.

Hey Cheryl,

That's really cool that you got all those things for free (especially the books ;D). I've been trying to track down all the free and cheapest books I can find but I don't seem to have as much luck in it as you do. Just the same my library is growing steadily and I'm at 870 now, can't wait to break 1,000 though.

I have to say that I'm not surprised that you were on the list of biggest libraries the way you seem to be a magnet for books. I still can't picture anywhere other than a bookstore or library having so many books lol.

I do have work study and will be coming back to the library for another year. I'm glad to hear we have another worker who actually works and find it odd that she has the same last name as me. I've never mey anyone else with the same last name as me other than those in my family.

Talk to you soon,
Jerm
Hi - I was wondering if you could help me. My father had a book years ago called Vengeance Valley, and I wanted to know if it's the same onein your library list. The only thing he can remember about it is that there's something about a wild yellow horse that couldn't be broken, and a character called Chet Holiday. Does this come close to a description of yours?

Many thanks,
Aidan.
Go to my profile and at the top of the light blue column on the right side of the page you'll see-- + Add to your watch list --and you should be all set.

Jerm
Hey Cheryl, it's Jerromey you should add me to your watch list.
You were right this is addictive although once you hit 200 books you have to pay for a membership before you can add anymore, which isn't a big deal it doesn't cost that much. But yeah this place is cool.
Talk to ya at school!
