Hello, I am looking for a free copy of Marquis de Sade's Juliette as it is in the public domain and i have so far, found nothing. If you know where i can find a public domain work of this i would enjoy it and be ever so grateful.

Thanks for the heads-up about those other Nexus novels. I enjoyed how "Forbidden Reading" used real-life references, like naming the manuscript she wanted, 'Lacoste' after the chateau. There are some other novels, as well, that, beyond referencing De Sade, feature him as a character: "When The Whip Comes Down" by Jeremy Reed, which depicts De Sade as a sort of vampire, still thriving in the modern day; and The Fan-Maker's Inquisition" by Rikki DuCornet. The latter of these is more of a mainstream than an erotica novel.

The "Marat/Sade" movie was cool. Although, I didn't find Patrick McGee's De Sade anywhere near as intriguing as Geoffrey Rush in "Quills". McGee just seemed rather dour and crabby. Rush's De Sade was just crackling with energy.

Enjoyed your 'Quills' review. That's my all-time favorite play. I loved the movie version, too. You have a great library - I've already seen a few things I'm now interested in going to purchase, mainly from under your 'S&M' tag. ;)

Have you read Peter Weiss' 'Marat / Sade'? It's another play that features a fictionalized version of De Sade, also when imprisioned in the Asylum of Charenton. I was lucky enough to see a live performance of that one, and liked it very much.
