About meI am the program director of a non-profit program devoted to increasing the turnout of young voters who attends graduate school at Claremont Graduate University.
Aside from the professional and academic, I am a comic/SF/rpg geek who loves to read. Leave a comment some time and let's talk about the books we enjoy.
About my libraryAs you can see by looking, my library (rather the part I have posted hear) is a collection of the scholarly and fantastic. I don't think you will find too many libraries where the owner holds his copy of Tocqueville in as high esteem as his Howard collection. I am that guy. If you want to talk about Burke, Schiller, Scruton, Gramsci, and Lester Dent, then I'm your man.

I see you're a Conan fan; at least, we share those books. I must have been about 12 when I first discovered Conan of Cimmeria in a local drug store. What caught my attention was the Frazatta cover which sealed the deal for me. I went on the discover the Conan the Barbarian comics, starting with #2 at a local 7-11. Today I am not so much a sword and sorcery/fantasy fan. I mainly read history and theology. As far as gaming is concerned, I'm a die-hard Call of Duty fan and rarely play anything else, but I'm looking forward to Wolfenstein's release. Say hello when you get a chance.
