About meI'm 35, living in Georgia with my husband, Mike and three cats, Jack, Mina and Mojo. I'm originally from Newfoundland, Canada but have travelled quite a bit and ended up in the US where I met my husband. I'm an avid reader and writer, and also enjoy outdoorsy-type things like camping, geocaching and hiking. I have a severe case of wanderlust and love to travel. I'm an intermittent Bookcrosser and I keep a book blog called A Life in Books where I keep track of what books I've been reading and other assorted book-related musings. I also work at a public library, so between one thing or another, I'm pretty much surrounded by books 24/7 - and that's just the way I like it!
About my libraryIt's a rather eclectic mix of classic literature, modern fiction, YA and children's fiction, history, travel, religion and spirituality, and other assorted nonfiction. Since I work at a library, I'm trying to be more selective about what I buy and keep, but I still keeping adding more books and more bookshelves. I don't list anything that I have set aside for BookCrossing (currently over 800 titles registered), as those books aren't in my possession for long.

Vachel Lindsay
[What the Man of Faith said]
The dew, the rain and moonlight
All prove our Father’s mind.
The dew, the rain and moonlight
Descend to bless mankind.
Come, let us see that all men
Have land to catch the rain,
Have grass to snare the spheres of dew,
And fields spread for the grain.
Yea, we would give to each poor man
Ripe wheat and poppies red,—
A peaceful place at evening
With the stars just overhead:
A net to snare the moonlight,
A sod spread to the sun,
A place of toil by daytime,
Of dreams when toil is done.

We share several books but what caught my attention is that you are originally from Newfoundland! I'm a Newfoundlander living on the west coast of this beautiful island. Where do you originate from? Reading, hiking and recently running are some of my favorite things to do. I paticular like Canadian authors and am currently reading The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill - so far a fabulous book!

I think that more LTers should know about your site. Perhaps you should start a new group?
Whatever you decide, please let me know - and I'm more than glad to help spread the news!
Many thanks to you and Mike.

Just hopped on while the website name was fresh in my mind. On the way home I received a call from the babysitter and Megan is sick, so much for quiet time. I can't wait to explore this site and your site more.
See ya later

I've been to Nfld, back in 1970 I think, doing mineral exploration. Lovely people. One of my teachers if Jr. High was Newfie and he was very nice.
